About us
About El Doctor De Las Casas
An owner-operated plumbing and roofing company based in Miami, Florida.
The house doctor
El Doctor De Las Casas means "the house doctor" in Spanish, and the name is the whole philosophy. A doctor listens, examines and explains before treating. That is how we try to handle a leaking pipe, a stubborn drain or a roof that lets the rain in.
The company is run by Yanel Ramirez in Miami, FL, and works the way a small, hands-on business does: you call, you describe the problem, and you deal with the person who is responsible for the work. There is no call center and no layers between you and the job.
We do plumbing and roofing under one name because, in a Miami house, the two overlap more than most people expect. A stain on the ceiling after a storm could be the roof, a vent pipe or a plumbing line in the attic, and it helps to have one company looking at the whole picture.

How we like to work
Diagnose first
We try to find the cause before recommending a fix, so you pay for the repair the problem needs.
Explain it plainly
You should be able to repeat what we told you to a family member or a landlord and have it make sense.
Tell you when not to spend
If a repair is enough, we say so. If a part is past saving, we say that too and explain why.
